How to Request Data Deletion
Steps to initiate a request
Follow these steps to submit a secure data deletion request through your Vogon Cloud account.

Log In to Your Account
Access your VogonID dashboard
Access your VogonID account by logging in at https://id.vogon.cloud. Logging in ensures the security and accuracy of the data deletion process.

Access the Data Deletion Request Form
Navigate to Service
Once logged in, go to the 'Services' section of your account dashboard. There you will find a link to the Data Deletion Request Form.

Complete the Form
Provide details
Fill out the Data Deletion Request Form with your account details and, optionally, a reason for the deletion request.

Submit Your Request
Send your request
After filling out the form, submit your request. You will receive a confirmation email or notification acknowledging receipt.

What Happens After You Submit Your Request
Verification, processing, and confirmation
Once your request is submitted, here’s what you can expect from our process.

Verification
Identity check
We will verify your identity and the authenticity of the request to prevent unauthorized data deletion.

Processing Time
Up to 30 days
The data deletion process may take up to 30 days from the date of your request. We appreciate your patience.

Confirmation
Final notice
Once your data has been successfully deleted, we will send you a confirmation email.

Vogon Exclusion
Immutable by design
When you post on the Vogon DQLDB there is no deletion, only append. Governance, lineage, provenance, and pedigree features always apply, along with past spatial, temporal, thematic, and semantic references. Unless specifically inside a coalition that is closed, others can still see your content.
